Lead: To direct someone, to guide

Josiah’s qualification for leadership wasn’t his age, his experience, or his intelligence. It was his character.

Because he was a man who determined very early in his life that he was not going to turn to the right or to the left but to walk straight, seeking hard after God, he developed the kind of character that was suited and prepared for great responsibility.

Josiah was ready for the challenge of leadership when God placed it upon his shoulders. No matter our age, or intelligence or grade point average the same thing can be true for us.
